MWorks 0.12.2 released

MWorks 0.12.2 is now available for Mac and iPad. This release includes the following changes:

  • Fixed an issue that caused MWServer to crash when loading an experiment that contains an EyeLink device
  • Added active_when_hidden parameter to rectangular and circular fixation points, which can be used to restore their pre-0.12 behavior when off screen
  • Reduced the start-up latency of sound playback (more info), and fixed a few issues revealed by this change
  • Added support for the LabJack T8 to the LabJack LJM interface
  • LabJack LJM and EyeLink interfaces now support both arm64 (Apple silicon) and x86_64 (Intel) processors

MWorks 0.12.2 requires a Mac running macOS Big Sur (11.0) or later or an iPad running iPadOS 16.0 or later. It was tested on macOS 11, 12, and 13 and iPadOS 16.
